Hello, my fellow story lovers! My name is Alister Dray Penborn, author and founder of Spectral Tempest Press. 

While my professional background is in the scientific field, I've always found a passionate connection to fantasy stories as they allow my mind to be more free with creativity. For me, nothing is better than immersing yourself in imaginative worlds with characters that feel so real you cheer or cry as you follow their fantastical trials.

It's funny, really. When I wrote out the outline for the A Theory in Shadejacktresy series at the start of 2023, I did it just as a New Year's resolution. But then I completed the first draft of Case 0: Manor of Reunion not too long after. I've written several stories over the years, but the level of thought and passion I've put into this mysterious thriller series made me feel ready to bring my imagination to light.

This led me to create Spectral Tempest Press. I look forward to sharing my worlds and characters with you as we sail through their stories. They are dear to me, and I hope they will be the same for you.
